High Alert: Change Yourself First to Change the World
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” ~ Gandhi
There’s a lot of fear happening in the world right now as news breaks every week for another terrorist attack. After one month in Los Angeles and flying back to Western Europe today, with major European cities on high alert, I continue to choose love over fear. Yes it’s a crazy world we live in but if we want to change the world we need to change ourselves first. Even though these tragic events underscore that we’re living in a world where anything can happen anywhere at any time, they’re not reason to stop traveling, to avoid certain parts of the world, and most importantly to stop living. At the end of the day all we really have control over is ourselves. Any hope for a better world rest on us being able to open ourselves up to embrace life in this moment and to live by example – to be a beacon of love and light for others.
We already inwardly attack ourselves with our human flaws, anger, negativity, and self-sabotaging tendencies. No need to create even more problems and conflicts in our life and world. By changing our inner world we can reach that change we strive for. By reframing our perspective about how we think then we will change how we feel and our action not reaction. In doing so our world, both inner and outer, will change. Through this new lens of thoughts and emotions we will begin to break old patterns and let go of limiting beliefs that are predicated on negativity and fear.
What do you choose? Do you choose to live a life rooted in love or rooted in fear?
Let’s move forward together and be a beacon of love and light in this world.
I’m offering “LOVE COUPONS” redeemable for free Discovery Call. If you (or someone you know) could use some extra support during these stressful times, I encourage you to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a free Discovery Call to see how we could work together.
I invite you to ask yourself,
“What is one small change you can make today in yourself to change the world and make it a better place?”
May you continue/start living from a place of love because life truly is beautiful. Even amongst the pain and suffering, peace and beauty remains to be felt and ultimately seen in this world. May you too find forgiveness, healing, strength, and courage to live your life in love. Namaste.
As always, I’d love connecting with you and hear how you’re the change you want to see in this world. Head over to the comments section below to share your thoughts.
With love and gratitude,
